Rain and Recipe

Can monkeys catch colds? I saw this monkey scampering around and then finally up a tree during the heavy downpour just now on my way to the bus stop from my piano teacher's house. Unfortunately for the monkey, even though the trees in that area are quite tall, they don't have that much leaves... POOR MONKEY!

Anyway, it was raining giraffes and elephants again today~ The thunder and lightning are SCARY. Especially so if you're walking in an open area and clutching an umbrella (read: metal stick) in your hands when the sky above you is flashing dangerously and the cold wind is blowing around you-- not exactly a very nice experience~ >.<

siwei's Quick-Get-Fat Recipe

Ingredients needed:
Pratas (the ones that come in a packet that you heat up in your oven/toaster)

Hotdogs (any kind that you like)
Cheese (any kind that you like)
Mayonnaise (any brand that you like)
Coke (or Sprite or Pepsi or Root Beer or any soft drink that you like)
Vanilla ice cream (you can try other flavours if you can't stand vanilla, at your own risk!)

Hotdog prata:

  1. Dump the hotdogs in a pot of water and boil
  2. Cook the prata (you can pop it into the toaster/oven, but I like frying it in the pan) X)
  3. Add the cheese to the prata (when cooking with the pan, you can toss the prata so that the side where the cheese is is cooked, but you have to flip it back up again if you don't want the cheese to stick to the bottom of your pan)
  4. Make sure the both the hotdog and the prata are fully cooked (VERY IMPORTANT!!), and then you can take them out of the pan/oven/toaster
  5. Place the hotdog at the centre of the prata
  6. Add mayo over the hotdog (and cheese if you think you can do with more of it; vegetables like cabbage and tomato slices are nice too, but highly optional)
  7. Roll the prata up and ta-da!, you have an unhealthy but yummy hotdog prata!
Coke float:
  1. Fill a gigantic glass almost completely with coke (or any carbonated soft drink of your choice)
  2. Scoop a generous helping of vanilla ice on top aanndddd ta-da!, you have a coke float that's sinful but nevertheless hard to resist X)
CAUTION: the Coke will start to froth when you add ice cream to it, so remember to leave enough space so that your drink won't overflow!

Takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare a hotdog prata and coke float.
EAT THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!
X)

Okay, I should go write my lit essay now (T.T)
