I get emotional very easily. To put it another way, I can cry without much effort. This... can be a good thing, can be a bad thing. It's very useful when I need to tap into strong emotions to, for example, play a Romantic composition on the piano. It can be quite embarrassing, though, when the tears come out when I don't want them to, like when I happened to watch the last episode of some anime that my sister was watching, and just burst into tears when the main protagonists died, even though I have no idea what was happening. Well, not exactly 'embarrassing', actually, but it's more of this feeling of "why am I crying" that makes me cringe. Like on Friday; I knew about her death on Wednesday, but yet I still cried so badly when we were told to write a message. I didn't even dare to think about going to her wake after that. The thing is, she was never my subject teacher, form teacher or CCA teacher, with the exception of one chance encounter this year, I've never even had a conversation with her before-- so why am I tearing up like that? It's not that I shouldn't cry for her, but it's weird, that I get so emotional over it. I told my mother about it and she said: “没有关系,发泄发泄一下而已“.

Whatever it is, I'd just like to tell everyone. that... I'M OKAY! I think I must've creeped some people out when I cried like that but anyway thanks for comforting me! And with that, I shall leave the as it is, because as much as I would like to encourage her family, loved ones to be strong and stuff like that, to say the truth, I have no idea how to continue from here...

And so, a few random ones:

Kimeru's next single is coming out on the 31st October! Woohoo! Something to look forward to in the midst of all the exams!

Finally, PRELIMS ARE OVER!!!

2 days ago, actually. But I've been relaxing and playing since then, as if 'O's are over as well. Yes, I'm feeling a bit guilty~

Anyway, I shall start from yesterday's interesting events. Yesterday, I went out alone, first to the esplanade to blow up and zap a nice blank, un-scribbled copy of Haydn's Symphony 104 score, so that I can write my notes properly in it. After that, I had planned to head over to the Kinokuniya in Ngee Ann City to check the books out, BUT I was running late because I couldn't find the bus stop in front of Esplanade (don't stare at me) and walked the opposite direction and so wasted a whole lotta time wandering around... ... So anyway, I just had a quick lunch, bought some puffs and headed over to Xing Dong's house. Skipping over the part where I alighted at the wrong bus stop and all, I finally arrived at his house and saw him, with left leg in a plastic cast, crutches and hobbling away. We had a long chat and his mother was
super hospitable, and I went home with an extra big bar of KitKat, a cute soft toy, and a mini Disney drawer. And the Taj Mahal paperweight (travel souvenir from India) and stack of Maths and Chem exam papers he passed to me as well. Yeah, WOW. We talked for 1++ hours, I think. Somehow, we just had so much to talk about after so long. And he's complaining that he's got nothing to do 'cos his exams are over... Really felt like strangling him when he said that. The photos (when I remembered to take):

I was wandering around this area before the cleaning uncle took pity on me and pointed me to the 'Esplanade' sign... Which was just on my right (--)''' And just for your information, I cleverly got 'lost' 4 times the entire day...

Esplanade rooftop! It looked so pretty from inside the library that I just had to go up... Haha...

And today, I went to Far East Plaza for the first time in my life, and I'd just say that I WILL go again! And I went to Borders and Kinokuniya (finally) too. And I nearly died at Kino 'cos I found out that Kimeru's photobook costs around $57 (and I'm not sure whether that price is inclusive of GST) (T-T) *Sigh* All the Japanese magazines are so expensive! Oh, and I (surprisingly) found D-boys' photobook 'Start!' as well. Needless to say, it's expensive as well... *SIGH* And on the way home, I took the bus in the wrong direction and ended up having to sit through a whole journey back... (@.@) And I totally forgot about the music lesson we're supposed to have today... SORRY!

I knew it! IknewitIknewitIknewitIknewitIknewitIknewIknewitIknewitIknewitIknewitIknewitIknewit?!

To announce it in a grand manner:

I actually knew about it first from the burimyu communitee at LJ before andro-san announced it on Youtube (haha) and, unlike most people, I'm gonna bet on a re-run of NCitBH, with everyone in it (hopefully)!

Anyway, finally, last paper tomorrow!! 頑張ります!

Oh, and Kimeru's new single will be out on 24th October-- something to look forward to! Yay!

P.S. Yes, I'm changing the way I label my posts 'cos Blogger has a limit of 200 characters max. for labels, and my old way of labelling will never be able to fit... Plus, it may be easier to find my old posts with this more conventional way of labelling~ --> changed back (^^)v

KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Kimeru's latest single 《君じゃなきゃダメなんだ》(kimi janakya dame nanda)! He's so cute?! o(^^)o Even though he could do with a few more dance lessons...

Ta-da! The PV:

Yep, double post today, 'cos this is IMPORTANT, exciting news... And I'm too lazy to change the code today... Haha...

Can't help but really hate the life I'm leading now-- as in the exams... Well, 2 last papers to go next week, and then prelims is history... And I know my results won't be pretty and the teachers are probably vomiting blood as they mark my papers... (@.@)

Hmmm... Lots of stuff happened since I last blogged (not counting the 9/11 post), and many photos too... I'll talk a bit about them as I post:

Return to the doctor's as asked and well, was diagnosed with sinusitis... So I'll be on nasal sprays for a least half a year AND I've been told that I should stay away from softoys, pets and as far as I can from dust for the rest of my life (IMPOSSIBLE IMPOSSIBLE IMPOSSIBLE) and my blankets/bedsheets/pillow cases should be washed monthly, less of air-con environments, ... ... and a warning that bad weather will affect my nose... Um, well, obviously I can't follow everything, but I've had my nose like that long enough, and I've sorta gotten used to it as it is, so it shouldn't be a problem...

My sister attempting to sew with the antique sewing machine at home and making a whole lot of noise about it, so much so that I actually felt like helping... It was eventually completed by her days later, though... ^^

50 laps @ Cedar (also Teachers' Day celebration) I was supposed to reach school by 6:30am, but arrived late... (^^)''' But the run was behind schedule so it's okay... I ran 5 rounds in total; twice with Swee Jin, once with Shangyu and Tanya, and twice with the class... I think everyone in class ran about that number of rounds... And Mr Sng ran with all of us... Somehow, it felt like the class bonded together all over again, running, eating pizzas and cheering for the teachers that day... We smelt and stank at the end of the day, but it was fun... (^^)v

I went back to school on Monday and got Wanyan to accompany me... It was going to rain when I took the picture, and it rained elephants and hippos when we got ready to go for lunch... We went anyway and got drenched, even with an umbrella... Brrr... But at Macs, I brought up the topic of JCs, and well, after the short discussion, I wasn't sure where (more specifically, which) I should be heading... You see, Wanyan's sisters are all older than her and she knew quite a lot about the issue at hand... *Sigh* Oh well, I don't have to come to a decision immediately, and it very much depends on my Prelims and 'O' Levels results, so I can pore over it sometime later...

Coke! I prefer it to Pepsi... It's nice to have a bottle on a super hot day... Haha... Urban and Straits Times in the background... Have I mentioned before? On tuesdays, I'll reach for Digital Life, on wednesdays,《现在》 of the Chinese paper, and Urban on thursdays first... Oh, and recently, reading Mike Lee's column 'A Gaijin's View' in Digital Life, coupled with my current obsession with all things Japanese, has made me want to zoom over to Tokyo to have a look!? But that's totally impossible and I shall have to continue daydreaming about it... (T-T)'''

Another important beverage that I probably can't live without

My desktop wallie as of 22/08/07(according to what I typed anyway)-- D. Gray-Man! And by the way, I'm keeping a close tab on the Odex case...

The last important thing: I finally was able to set up a Bittorrent software from my computer after TWO unsuccessful tries a long, long time ago... I'm downloading nothing illegal, though~ *glare*

And I changed my blogskin! Finally got tired of the old one... HOWEVER, it seems that IE users cannot see most parts of my blog because I edited the code using my FF browser... (--)''' Seriously, everyone should consider switching to FF... Ever since I switched, I haven't been able to back to IE... That's how good FF is... Okay, enough rambling... I'll try to change the code again so that it shows up in both browers...

Oh wait! I must end off with...

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

Today's the sixth September 11th
since the 9/11 incident in 2001
Even now, I can't really say
I understand the grief
felt by the loved ones of the victims
Afterall, I'm still living in my own world
With everything else in the real world
revolving around me
In other words
I'm still
an extremely immature girl
But I sincerely, wholeheartedly
Hope
that nothing like that
will ever happen again

But that's impossible, right?

Most of you (or should I say, all of you) would probably not have heard about Gackt's 十二月のLovesong... It's a powerful song with some reference to 9/11... Watch it:

There's English, Chinese and korean version too... But I find that his accent a little distracting; it kinda draws your attention away from the music, so I prefer the Japanese version... But if you want to listen to it, you can find it on Youtube... And now, back to mugging (TT)'''
