Haizz... Why do I feel so tired today??

Anyway, today's Teachers' Day-- Happy Teachers' Day!! =] It was super relaxing today, watching the matches and then the concert... A change from normal, boring school life... But at least after today, I realised that many of the teachers are multitalented... Haha... Ok, whatever... ;]

I went out with Hui Min after the celebrations and we met the same group of people over and over again... Kinda amusing... =) I guess there's only that many places that you can conveniently go to from school...

I'm having a bit of a problem with the pieces for my Music EYE practical-- they're too short!! I need 2 pieces that'll add up to 8 mins in total... The 2 I'm planning to play now adds up to only about 6 mins... Urgh... I'm so dead... So now I'm trying my best to get myself to learn Chopin's Etude in E major as soon as I can... Hopefully, I'll be able to play that for the EYE... Well, hopefully...

Also, I'm kinda sick of the black, gloomy, moody, so-not-colourful blogskin... I shall change it =]

Tuesday, August 29, 2006

Guess what? I failed my chem again... =[ Slight improvement of 4 marks though.... "Cannot ask for too much wan"... Oh well... And I've calculated-- I'm getting an E8 for that subject...

But I haven't felt so relieved for a long, long time; having been released from all the worrying about coming tests (the next ones are only in T4W1)... And it feels so great!! Haha-

Anyway, I realised that all the blogs look different in Mozilla Firefox and IE... As in there's a slight difference in the fonts and the way colours appear... In terms of these 2 aspects, I think MF is better than IE... However, all the 'special effects' like fading and stuff like that, and the music from iWebMusic, cannot be seen (or heard)... But I'm still sticking to MF, coz its so much faster...

One last thing: Baohui says that that Monte Cristo episode is cool... Well, I can agree that its bloody good, but a tad too bloody for me... Wanna watch it? Its- Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, Ep 18- Duel... Don't say you haven't been warned, though... Baohui said that she saw the Count slice off the guy's fingers (boohoo!!)... I'm so glad I didn't notice that!

Sunday, August 27, 2006

I kinda regret watching last night's episode of Monte Cristo-- that extremely disturbing scene keeps replaying itself in my useless brain... That scene where my favourite character is stabbed with a sharp sword again, again, and again through his armour... And where his voice goes: "Ahh" again and again in between the clangs of what he's left with and the others' sword... And finally spitting blood and dying in his best friends arm, doing everything for him... Urgh... If you haven't realised it, I am complaining about the violence of that episode... I guess I still can't stomach that... I need something more mild today-- like D.N. Angel... LOL

Anyway, I think I'm seriously gonna flunk Monday's Macbeth test... Cos you know what? I fell asleep studying and spent the whole afternoon snoozing away... -_-'" And I intended to do homework tomorrow... I can only try my best to sqeeze out some extra time tomorrow then... Haizz...

EDIT: I don't know why this post repeats itself 3 times-- it's normal in my preview and I can't do anything about it, but they're basically the same thing...

It's horrid, it's unfair, I'm frustrated!?! I spent so much time last night and early this morning studying for Chem and, after taking the test, I'm convinced that I'm gonna fail it really badly, yet again... And to think I studied so seriously for it... Of course, I'm not saying that I study for other tests casually, but I worked extra hard for this particular hoping to pass my CA2 Chem... And now... Sighx... And, I got back my SS and Bio today... Even though I failed neither, I didn't pass them with flying colours either... I got 13/25 for SS... What irked me was that I managed to get the lowest mark required to pass considering that there's no 1/2 marks in SS... (T-T) That also mean that I better not fail my Macbeth test on Monday... 'Cos if I do that, there's a high chance of me failing my SS/Lit segment, since all my marks for it so far are either fails or really borderline passes... And, Bio... Oh man, I don't want to talk about my marks... I mean, Bio's interesting (to me anyway), but I can't seem to score...

Ok, enough about tests and horrible marks...

We played football today for PE again... Oh, but about half the class was playing something else... Dodgeball, I think... We're supposed to play basketball but another class playing... But, who cares? And guess what? I scored my first ever goal in the entire 15 years of my life!! Woohoo!! =] But I confess: I didn't intend to score a goal... Didn't even see properly which direction I should've kicked the ball in... Just knew that I had to get the ball out of our 'territory' (meaning the half of the half of the Sports Hall we're using where our goalpost is) into the other team's 'territory'... And before I knew it- GOAL!! Haha... Shallow playing, yes, but that's good enough for me... And what's more, I scored the 1st goal of the match... Oh, Tanya and Switch scored 2 goals each(Switch's the goalkeeper, never left the 'goalpost'-- so can you imagine how small that area is??) ... And the final score is: 7-1 =] Plus this was the most interesting and funnist game so far-- lots of feet-kicking-air-and-missing-the-ball antics, stuff like 5 people crowding around the ball at one point trying to kick it (but somehow still missing it and it ended up being kicked by someone outside the 'circle' of people) and "casualties"...

Enough about football... I suddenly have lots of random stuff to say... Here goes...

A few nights ago, I had this nightmare... Ok, I had nightmares one after another so I kept jolting awake, but I only remember this particular one... I was in my bed, sleeping (then I suppose I woke up), and suddenly these gigantic grey slimy slugs started plopping down from the ceiling and landed on the floor... So the floor was cover with the gooey wriggling worms, and my sister was still snoring away... Then, suddenly, one landed at the the feet of my bed... And I started freaking out... Then it started wriggling towards me... I freaked out even more... It inched slowly towards me... Then, I woke up... And fell asleep again within 5 mins... =D

Oh, I just remembered about today's assembly programme... The Middle Eastern Percussion and belly dance thing... I mean, at first, it was kinda fascinating, but then it started to wear out... I mean, it's only rhythm... It'll be more interesting if there were melodies/music... But learning about the various rhythms was nice...

One last thing: Do you know that Pluto isn't considered a planet anymore?? Read this... Kinda caught me by surprise... Hey, I just realised-- the houses in my primary school are named after planets- Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune, and, Pluto... Will they change it?? And, my primary school science textbooks are officially outdated... =]

I haven't finish my 作文... |_| But I'm too tired... Maybe tomorrow... Kinda worried about the CI presentation tomorrow... 'Cos I don't even know if anyone complied the 'final' powerpoint... I feel a bit guilty, 'cos I think I didn't bother to contribute much... Haizz...

I'm also kinda worried about whether I'll be able to study for Chem before Thursday... And if I'll be able to get that cactus... -_- Hopefully... For now, I'm just gonna go sleep and forget about everything...

Oh, and my sis's HCL and piano exams are both tomorrow... Good luck and don't get your periods wrong... =]

The good news: my music results aren't that bad

The really bad news: I think I'm gonna fail my ABRSM piano

I made mistakes for every other scale and I totally screwed up my aural... URGH... No hope of a distinction now... Haizz... That was my target...

So now, I'm basically moody, grouchy, down, lousy blah blah blah...

Wednesday, August 16, 2006

Today's the 16th-- meaning tomorrow... is my piano ABRSM exam... o_O

Anyway, for PE today, we played football again... YEAH!! It was so fun! I played midfield (more of defence, though, coz I totally can't aim and just anyhow kick the ball back to the other side =])... We beat the other team 1-0... And I thought we were gonna lose them like 0-6 or something... Haha...

Oh, and we had drills for the whole of band prac just now and guess what? I got sunburnt... My nose's red now... Urgh.... Oh well...

Monday, August 14, 2006

I think the last post was a bit too harsh... Ok, whatever... I read in the newspaper that the Israel and Lebanon might finally get some peace again... Wars... Haizz... Like what Bertrand Russell said, "War does not determine who is right - only who is left."

The ugly truth... -_-

Anyway, I got back my Chinese and Chem common test paper... Passed my Chinese by 3 miserable marks overall (failed the 1st paper but luckily the 2nd one pulled it up... Annndd, for my chem-- Ta-da! 7/25... First ever single-digit score for such a test... Its a F9, no?? Oh well, I better buck up for the next one next friday... Hopefully, that'll make up for this abysmal one...

Ok, I should be studying Bio now, if I don't wanna get another single-digit mark...

P.S. Bio people, check this out... Its good revision... =]

All the 'terrorism' headlines on the news this few days... Really don't understand why people want to detonate a bomb in a plane and blast others to nothing... [deleted]... That's my opinion anyway...

Anyway, stayed up this late (or early) to finish most of my homework... Urgh... Seriously... Hope I didn't stay up for nothing...

Edit: Even though that comment won't hurt anybody, I thought it'll be better if I don't post it there at all... =]

Friday, August 11, 2006

Had another round of girly soccer today during PE(whereupon if the ball gets even close to the goalpost, everybody starts screaming and crowds around it, trying to kick it, with the one having the most accurate kick kicking it the direction she wants; or near to... Ok, maybe even the opposite direction... Haha... =]) ... Ended with half the class (12) playing against the other (also 12), which, ended with a grand score of 0 - 0... But I had a hilariously fun time... Haha...

Sometimes, I really wish that there's more than 24 hours in a day... I never seem to have enough time to do everything that I wanted/want to... But then again, maybe I'll end up using that extra few hours studying or doing something that's school-related; maybe at most sleep more... Urgh... Haizz...

The Sec 4s Express people got their 'O' MT paper back today... Scary... "Get A2 should I retake?" Well... It's up to you... You are the one who's taking it, not me, and you understand yourself best... Right?? As for me, I don't think I have much of a choice... Whatever I get, I'll most probably accept it and work hard for my HCL... Hell no, I'm not dropping HCL after studying so hard for it these 2-3 years... Don't want all my hard work to go down the drain... That's what I think anyway...

Oh, last thing: I don't really understand what that play during assembly was about... In the context of the play, what's the definition of "Fat Virgins"?? I'm kinda confused... But, whatever... Everybody seems to be more or less as blur as me... Haha...

P.S. I'm adding Shaman King and Serial Experiment Lain to my Watchlist... Shaman King seems rather nice, but I've missed too many eps to continue watching from Arts Central... As for the latter... Well, the title's just fascinating... Haizz... Goodness... The list just seems to be getting longer and longer... But I've not watched much yet!! WAHHHHH!!!

Ok, I seriously should start practising my aural now... Thursday's drawing near... =[

Thursday, August 10, 2006

Yes, I know I'm 15 and I've gotten my IC... So what? The IC's only a card... I'm still childish and immature... Don't say I never warned you... So deny me my weekend morning shows on Kids Central or cause me to to die like twice in a row when I'm playing my games, watch out-- you're gonna get it...

That aside, I'm having a mood swing...
Or rather, my mood swang...
No, my mood has swung...
Haha...

If I'm blogging this yesterday night, I'll probably be doing everything in a huff and in CAPS... But hey, I've cooled down, and I'm back to normal by this afternoon... Ok, whatever...

Anyway, I'm adding .hack//SIGN to my Watchlist... Cos... I wanna watch it!! Haha... =]

Wednesday, August 09, 2006

Its National Day today... Just watched the National Parade... It was the same... As last year, and the year before, and the year before... Not much of a difference, really... Every year, you get people of all ages running around, the various contingents marching, and some people dancing (a few in mid-air)... Then there's the singing-- or rather, the lip synchings... -_-

But I watched 'cos I wanted to watch the Deyi Military Band perform... And what did they (whoever's in charge of broadcasting over the TV) do? They cut the performance not once but at least twice, not showing the beginning and the ending fully... Urgh.

Anyway, something of interest-- why'd they use the soundtrack from LOTR in one of the clips?? Kinda didn't fit... That's my opinion anyway...

One more thing- I bought Death Note yesterday, and, after reading and finding myself not being able to put it down until I finished the entire volume, I'm convinced that my 5 bucks are well spent... =]

Tuesday, August 08, 2006

Tuesday, August 08, 2006

So today we had National day celebration... And there's 2 days of holiday- tomorrow and Thursday...

The GOOD thing: I get to wake up late!!
The really BAD thing: I got a mountain of homework to complete... -_-

OH Well... That's expected right?? Haizz...

Hope Dennis's recovering well from dengue... Dengue sounds scary... Moral of story?? SEE MOZZIE, KILL MOZZIE... Haha...

P.S. Added Chobits to watchlist... The manga's rather nice... The storyline and drawing, that is, nothing else... IF you know what I mean... -_- Hahx...

Sunday, August 06, 2006

Sunday, August 06, 2006

Watched "Pirates of the Carribean" this afternoon... If you wanna know my comments for it, just join Flixster and you'll have my comments for that and many others... Remember to add me-- username's weivv... Haha... It's a good site to rate and keep track of the movies you watch... =]

I shall play Dofus after I'm done adding some more links... Haha...

Oh, I've bought Varruna's present... Hope she likes it... =]

Saturday, August 05, 2006

Lucify didn't make it to the final 2 in Superband... (T.T) WAHHHHH!! They were so cool... Even though their songs weren't that spectacular or as good as their best... BUT still, I don't think they deserve to be at the bottom 2... People shouldn't just vote based on looks alone- they must have other talents to back up too... Haizz... Yeah, I'm no supporter of SOUL... 0_o Fine, I like Lucify partly 'cos they look waayyy cool, but they can carry a tune (and guitars + drums)... SOUL can't... =P At least 迷路兵 won... Haha... They're not bad and they're adorable... =]

Anyway, it's saturday and I haven't even started on any of my homework yet... AND I'm watching 'Pirates' tomorrow... Haizz...

Oh, thank goodness the Chinese teacher gave me another chance and let me do 口头报告on Monday... Hmmm... What shall I do on? 美男?? Most probably... =]

Wednesday, August 02, 2006

I got sick of the old skin, so I changed one... This one's all dark and moody, not what I usually prefer, BUT this skin's just so nice that I couldn't resist it... Haha!!

I think I screwed up both of today's common tests... Yikes... Not much to say today...

Oh, since Wanyan's ABRSM exam is tomorrow, I shall wish her "GOOD LUCK!!"

Haha... =]

What do I live for? I wasn't sure I had the answer the moment I heard the question... Still don't... Asked Mummy and she said we live to fulfill our dreams... Oh well... All I know is that I don't live just for homework, assignments, projects, tests, and exams... URGH... Look at the the time now... Haizz... I need to SLEEP...
