Fun-O-Rama XIX

I think I'm way past exhaustion-- my only dream now is to sleep till monday morning~

Anyway, today's Fun-O-Rama! After so much work (my garlic turned green yesterday-- yeah, eww) and messing around with margarine, bread and more garlic, I got to mess with garlic bread, toasters and a stupid electric stove today! Oh ye~ay! I just want to say sorry to everyone, especially those in the food comm, for bringing an electric stove that was absolutely useless and of no help whatsoever.

Oh, but the most interesting event that happened today was that I went to a 'haunted house" at the funfair! I had planned to go all 3 (crazy me), but the looooonnngg snaking queue to people really made me drop the idea. Still, I had the chance to go to Emily Hill 14 in the morning with Karen, her 2 friends from church, and her, uh, another friend whose name I can't remember (^^)'''

It was thrilling~♥

But the ironic thing is that even though I was scared, I enjoyed the whole game till the very end, but I ran out of the LT at the end of the game. The actors, their costumes and the props were very impressive. The whole combo made me and Karen scream like madwomen in there (especially Karen). I want to go again!!

Okay, I'm pretty much nodding off even as I type this, so I'll go sleep now-

On another note, Kimeru's 3rd album is coming out on 18th June!! YAY!! o(^^)o

See Ya Around

To Bryant, who bakes wonderful cookies
To Johnathan, who comes for band pracs in his grey and dark blue uniform
To Sun Meng, who saw me through my secondary school days at Cedar
See ya around!

I probably won't get a chance to perform with Bryant and Jonathan again since they're no longer in ACJC. I didn't spend enough time to know them really well, but I cherish the times we had fun together~ All the best in your future endeavours! Sun Meng too, who's going to Canada to continue her studies. Why is it that my friends are leaving one by one?(TT)

Right. MUSE. My first proper band concert in a proper concert hall, which, in this case, is Esplanade. Even though we didn't play as well as we did in rehearsals, I was still quite happy with my playing (^^)v The funny thing (not very funny, actually) was that everyone whom I met during intermission told me that "the guy sitting on (my) left is very tall"-- and that "guy" is Edwin, who really isn't that tall what~ I totally blame it on the stands. I had fun playing in this concert, and with the experience I gained from it, am looking forward to going up the stage again. Many people've been telling me how badly we played, but I think the most important thing is that we move on and not dwell on the past anymore.

Oh, and I took quite a number of photos that day-- shall upload them as soon as I received a certain spastic one

P.S. I managed to tottle around in my court shoes the entire afternoon/night despite my sprained ankle (^^)/

Of all the time, NOW~

I was going to title this entry "Monday Blues".

And I was going to complain all about my senseless and absolute horrible timetable, especially my Mondays, where I do not have a single break the whole day. And then I was going to talk a bit about band camp, about how tiring it was, but how good I felt at the end of it 'cos somehow under all the stress, I managed to get to know a lot more people, plus the fact that I actually improved in my playing. After that I was going to whine some more about being the dorm i/c and about the camp food (which actually wasn't that bad). Next on the fuss-list was the amount of holiday homework I had to do, and how band was taking up too much of my 'me' time. And then I was going to declare to the whole world that I screwed up my Grade 8 Practical, and jump randomly to grousing about how I'm totally losing it for Maths. And comment randomly that I'll miss all the superb videos that were on Stage6, now that the site is down. Very lastly, I'd end off lamenting about my inability to sell the MUSE tickets and Fun-O-Rama coupons.

was.

NOW I have a more serious and pressing issue at hand, something that made all the above seem unimportant.

I FREAKIN' SPRAINED MY ANKLE!!!
3 DAYS BEFORE MY FIRST BAND CONCERT!!?

I've gone to the Chinese sensei for a half hour session of torture and missed today's practice. It's already bad enough~

Please, please, my ankle, heal on time~ Somehow (T-T)

2 Weeks in a Nutshell

Hai! I'm baaaaacckk!!

I'm gonna try to summarise everything, so here goes:

The skin on my scalp flaked (yeah, GROSS right?) and it's back to normal. I got to know my OG mates better, and on top of that, I now have a CCA (band!) and a class! Band is seriously taking up too much of my time, but I must be like, the worst player in the section, so I gotta try to catch up!! Especially since there's a concert coming on the 24th!!

My subject combination:
Mathematics H2
Music H2
Geog H2
Literature H1
Chines H1
GP H1
PW H1

Yep, I'm in Arts stream (^^)

...
...
...

Um... I kinda forgot what to blog about.... Anyway, I'm still trying to get to know the people from my class and band, and school's tiring, but I'm still OK at this point of time.

Lastly, pimping 2 events!

ACJC MUSE band concert
